The Applicable ethernet cable for this CAT6A RJ45 connector is compatible with both stranded and solid CAT7/CAT6A cables, but not compatible with CAT8, CAT6, CAT5e, and CAT5 versions. It supports 23 AWG inner conductor and insulation OD 1.35~1.45mm, and the OD must meet the requirements. The sheath used for LAN cable OD is 7~8mm. For this RJ45 connector, the core wire of CAT6 CAT5E CAT5 is too thin, which will cause the core wire slide inside the load bar, making it impossible to crimp correctly.

To improve the installation success rate, the Gen 2 CAT 7 connector pass through is the second generation of CAT7 connector. Compared with the Gen 1 connector, this Gen 2 connector end allows you to identify wire sequences before crimping, to avoid wrong wire lining problems and waste. It's also easier to insert the wires through the connector with the help of the attached lord bars.
