Our Keystone Surface Mount Boxes provide a versatile and practical solution when an in-wall installation is not feasible. These surface mount boxes offer a convenient and straightforward way to network your home or office using unshielded 23 to 26 AWG solid or stranded cables. Each box can be easily attached to almost any surface using the included double-sided tape or mounting screws.

Featuring a 360-degree metal-shielded housing, these surface mount boxes can effectively reduce EMI/RFI interference, ensuring a more stable and faster network connection. They support both the T568A and T568B wiring standards and are compatible with 110 or Krone punchdown tools, making the installation process user-friendly.

Designed for versatility, the surface mount boxes can accommodate CAT6/CAT5E/CAT5 UTP solid or stranded wires with a maximum cable outside diameter of 6.2mm (0.24 inches). This allows you to achieve a clean and professional look while reducing interference that can lead to poor connections.

The reliable and impact-resistant construction of these boxes ensures they can withstand the rigors of installation and daily use. The phosphor bronze IDC terminals with tin plating can easily penetrate the cable sheath and securely hold the wires in place.

For a more organized and personalized setup, the surface mount boxes feature a writable label area, allowing you to identify and manage your network connections efficiently.

The installation process is straightforward. Simply strip the network cable jacket, separate the wires, and follow the color-coded wiring diagram to terminate the cables using the 110 or Krone punchdown tool. The box can then be securely mounted to the desired location with the provided screws or double-sided tape, and the lid can be easily closed to complete the installation.
